Which type of pool is best for you?   Read more to learn about a Fiberglass Pool:

  • Low maintenance: The gel coat surface of the fiberglass pool shell is nonporous.  This inhibits the growth of algae and reduces the amount of sanitizing chemicals required to maintain the pool.
  • Little or No life time cost: 99% of the time there is never any money invested in the shell of fiberglass pools.  No vinyl liner to replace and no resurfacing.
  • Non-abrasive surface: The gel coat surface of fiberglass pools is smooth to the touch.
  • Built-in Seats and Steps: Most fiberglass pool designs have seating and all have steps incorporated into the shell of the pool.
  • Quality Control: Mnf. in controlled environment: Fiberglass pools are built in the controlled climate of a factory.
  • Quick installation: Because the shells of fiberglass pools are built off site, the installation occurs more rapidly....3-5 weeks on average.
  • Beautiful: As seen in the above image, you can do amazing things with a fiberglass swimming pool.
  • 50 year warranty: longest structural industry in the industry.
  • Shapes: Limited shapes and pools can have a bathtub look and feel.
  • Stairs and seating: Stairs and seating are limited and predetermined.
  • Structural Integrity: 17 times stronger than Gunite / plaster pools. Less affected by water chemistry fluctuations. Very Smooth surface. No resurfacing required. Longest lasting material, Virtually indestructible.
  • Chemical Usage: Fiberglass uses less chemicals than  gunite plaster pools.
  • Maintenance: Algae and stains are less likely to penetrate it compared to Vinyl and gunite plaster pools.
  • Major Renovation: None is required.

This is all you need to know  about Vinyl Liner Pools:

  •  Maintenance:  Vinyl Liner Pools have the lowest initial cost of any of the three types of inground pools. Heaving rains can push water under the liner and wrinkle it. Water chemistry fluctuations can wrinkle / destroy the liner in 1 year.
  • Life time cost: Liner needs to be replaced every 5 to 7 years for an average cost of $4k to $7K

  • Non - abrasive surface: Vinyl liner pools are very soft and smooth. This is one of the best features of a vinyl pool.
  • Customizable shape and size:  There are no limitations of the length, width, and depth of Vinyl Liner Pools. Steps and benches are covered in vinyl.
  • Quality control: Dependent on the on the job site of the home installer. Quality Vinyl pools, steel or polymer structrual walls and vinyl material varies (and so does fiberglass.)
  • Installation: Vinyl pools can take up to a year to install,  depending on the complexity of the project.
  • Beautiful: As seen in the above image, you can do amazing things with a vinyl swimming pool liner.
  • Limited  warranty: Warranty is against seam failure but vinyl will get holes in it and leak eventually. $500 detection fee.
  • Shapes: Unlimited Shapes.
  • Stairs and seating: Stairs and seating are flexible with a vinyl pool.
